Upcoming Workshops

No Bully runs public workshops and trainings throughout the school year. These provide a great opportunity for school administrators, teachers, staff and counselors to get up to speed on how visionary schools address bullying and to learn the new best practices to make your school a bully-free learning community.

 

Bully-Free – What Really Works?
No Bully and Soul Shoppe have come together to provide educators with the roadmap for a bully-free school based on research into effective best practices and on our years of experience in schools. We are hosting a daylong workshop designed to guide school teams how to:
• Develop an effective and comprehensive anti-bullying strategy that addresses bullying and harassment and that supports diversity at your school.
• Discriminate between the many conflicting anti-bullying resources on hand
• Create and implement an action plan that will best sustain your school in being bully-free.
All participants receive a copy of the Bully-Free Handbook and online access to free curriculum from Common Sense Media designed to build digital citizenship and combat cyber-bullying. Light lunch and snacks provided in this beautiful retreat center nestled, among the Oakland redwoods.

Solution Team® and Solution Coach®

Survivors of School Bullying
This is an opportunity for adult survivors of bullying to come together and to learn that they are not alone in suffering an abuse that no child or adolsecent should endure. Their aim is to help participants take a significant step in putting their childhood past behind them and reclaiming the life they are meant to live. Note: this is not a No Bully event. The workshop is organized by Nicholas Carlisle MFT, psychotherapist and executive director of No Bully, who has led these annual gatherings for over ten years.
