Anti-bullying Program

At this level of partnership, a No Bully® consultant will work with you long-term, to bring you the current research and best practices on school bullying and to guide you in implementing your anti-bullying initiative. Schools that partner with us at this level additionally receive all the parent and teacher workshops provided in the first level.

Creating an anti-bullying policy and action plan.
Schools have the greatest success in promoting a bully-free culture when they take a graduated approach to change. No Bully has developed a unique, five-module process, through which schools create an anti-bullying policy and program of interventions to support a bully-free student culture through the years ahead. To partner with us at level, we ask for an anti-bullying action team to meet with us over the course of a year, comprised of school administrators, teachers and parents. Many schools extend their anti-bullying action team to guarantee follow-through on their anti-bullying program and to oversee the social and emotional development of all students in every grade.

Training in the Solution Team™ response.
Schools frequently ask No Bully what they can do to help the targets of bullying. They have found that punitive responses to bullying, such as disciplinary action against the perpetrators, often isolates the target and makes the bullying worse. The Solution Team response to bullying was created by No Bully as a non-punitive way of ending entrenched bullying dynamics. Under the Solution Team response, an adult facilitator pulls together a group of student to solve the bullying of one of their peers. No Bully will train key members of your faculty in how to facilitate Solution Team meetings to resolve bullying incidents at your school. The Solution Team response has proved to be so effective that many schools have made it the centerpiece of their anti-bullying policy.

Classroom workshops as needed.
No Bully
consultants are available to help unravel particular bullying dynamics as they arise in individual classrooms. We work in partnership with classroom teachers in preparing students for the workshop and then integrating the learning afterwards.

Consultations.
We offer consultations at every stage of the process. We help you initiate the process of change in order to shift student values from bullying and exclusion to empathy, inclusion and respect for differences. We trouble-shoot obstacles that may arise along the way and follow up with you to make your anti-bullying action plan a success.

“Through the No Bully trainings we have seen our community develop an awareness of the hurt and trauma bullying can cause. Our students can now identify bullying and know how to ask for assistance. Students are confident that when a report is made something will be done to help them. We still have occurrences of bullying, but their number is greatly reduced. I highly recommend the No Bully program to any school or organization that is serious about addressing bullying.”
